The decision is now official: The NFL is sending a message to Ben Roethlisberger.
As ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen first reported, Roethlisberger was suspended for six games on Wednesday for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Brandon Marshall Traded To Dolphins

As ESPN insider Adam Schefter first reported early Wednesday, the Denver Broncos are trading wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Miami Dolphins for a second-round pick in next week's NFL draft and what league sources tell Schefter is an additional second-round pick in 2011.

As first reported by ESPN.com insider Adam Schefter, the Eagles on Sunday reached an agreement on a blockbuster intra-division trade to send perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins.
The two sides still must finalize language, but McNabb is now headed to Washington. The Eagles quickly confirmed the move.

As ESPN insider Adam Schefter first reported a short time ago, LaDainian Tomlinson and the New York Jets reached an agreement Sunday on a two-year deal. The deal has since been independently reported by a variety of outlets.
Tomlinson spent Thursday with the Minnesota Vikings, Friday with the Jets and Saturday flying home to San Diego.

Larry Johnson Joins Portis In Redskins Backfield

The Washington Redskins made their biggest free-agent splash Friday night, reaching agreement on a three-year deal with running back Larry Johnson.
The contract could be worth up to $12 million depending upon how Johnson plays, a source told ESPN.com's John Clayton.
