Anquan Boldin Traded To Ravens
As ESPN insider Adam Schefter first reported this afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals have traded receiver Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens for third and fourth round draft picks.

While the Ravens will only confirm that general manager Ozzie Newsome is working to complete the trade, Schefter reports that Boldin, who was entering the final year of his old contract, has agreed to a new $28 million, four-year deal with the Ravens.

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post and Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network are also reporting the trade is done.

Boldin, who had 84 receptions for 1,024 yards and four touchdowns in 2009, is clearly being brought on board to serve as the No. 1 wideout for promising young quarterback Joe Flacco.

Even if Derrick Mason, whose future with the team is less than certain, returns for another season, it's safe to say Boldin will be the leader of a revamped receiving corps that will include another new addition, Donte' Stallworth, who signed a one-year contract in February.

Meanwhile, as Profootballtalk.com suggested, Boldin is a superlative locker room leader, but there was some concern in Arizona that his body has taken a pounding over the years and that he would remain injury-prone.

The Cardinals will move forward with Steve Breaston and Early Doucet working behind No. 1 receiver Larry Fitzgerald in what's likely to be a more run-oriented attack with Matt Leinart replacing the recently-retired Kurt Warner at quarterback.
