The "Mainstay." This page contains a fairly complete representation of NFL articles by the Associated Press provided by The Nando Times. You'll quickly notice that some of the more prominent sites below, like USA Today and ESPN rely almost exclusively on the AP for their breaking news. Although reports don't necessarily appear on this page first, they all wind up here by the end of the day. I check this page at least every half hour which is probably a tad freakish. But get at least one look daily...

This is the actually the main NFL area which includes the link above. However, in addition to the feature stories available on that page, this one provides access to a full array of notes, transactions and statistics. The most useful pages found on the NFL Server are the individual team pages which make it possible to easily check all of the Features reports, stats, transactions, schedule info and other specific items regarding the team of your choice from one central page.

Pretty much what the average cynic might expect from an outfit that bills itself as "The Worldwide Leader In Sports Information" at the same time they subject television viewers to seven hours of back-to-back SportsCenters anchored by Rich Eisen and Stuart Scott five days a week. While this site provides interesting commentary from such on-air personalities as Chris Mortensen, Mel Kiper Jr., Andrea Kramer and John Clayton, anybody who makes a habit of watching SportsCenter at least once daily will find that they've already heard this stuff before. To get the "exclusive" stuff you'll have to break out with the plastic and fork over slightly less than $40.00 per year for a full year subscription or $4.95 per month if you sign up for less than a year...

Excellent mix of news, stats and special interest info. Although most of the breaking news found at this site comes directly from the Nando Features Page, there's enough added value from a variety of exclusive injury reports and columns to make this site worth frequent peeks.

One of the best sites for obtaining weekly team updates all year round. You'll find the kind of detailed insight that only comes from reporters who cover a single team on a full-time basis...

Yeeesssss! Outstanding site by the good folks at Pro Football Weekly! You'll find a full Fantasy section along with such familiar favorites as their Whispers and The Way We Hear It columns... This site is so loaded with information that I don't know whether to giggle or cry. It definitely means another five solid hours of homework this week... You want to check this one out boys and girls. Bottom line? PFW delivers.

The Xchange also provides weekly updates, often providing the kind of tidbits Fantasy owners love to find.

The Official Site Of The National Football League is sometimes a little too official, if you know what I mean... Perhaps toting the company line a little too heartily for my liking. Still, you'll find some good info in their Team Notes on occasion and their stat pages are very handy. But the coolest content on this site has to be the live Java-powered, real-time game coverage of each and every contest and what the league refers to as "Gamebooks." I can think of few things that come in handier than these postgame reports which are generally made available shortly after each contest ends stats, a full play-by-play that you can review by quarter and a complete list of starters, substitutes, DNPs and inactives. Very convenient...

Since I'm more familiar and comfortable with Nando, ESPN and USA Today I rarely find myself compelled to hit this site. Sportsline has all the content those other sites do, but as with most things, folks tend to go with what they know...

Great site that effectively covers breaking news and also provides some pretty sharp commentary and analysis including a weekly "insider" column by Peter King.

Between Microsoft and NBC you've got enough Internet, computer, general marketing and media know-how to come up with a pretty effective site on just about anything you can think of. NFL football included. Check 'em out.

This is where you'll find links to all of the NFL audio broadcasting found on the Web. A great site that will let you listen in on radio stations covering local teams.
